I am passionate about helping other women with their finances. I love to educate and facilitate growth by using funding as a stepping stone. I love nothing more than seeing a woman own her life and her finances and to soar as a result!
I have a soft spot for fellow solo mums, women just getting started on the property ladder and I love brainstorming with my fellow entrepreneur lady bosses. I started my finance business as a solo mum with 2 under 2 yrs (whilst breastfeeding!) and having had no previous experience in the industry. It took grit and a lot of late nights and tears but it was worth it to now be in a position to help other women / mothers / powerhouses to use funds to build their dreams.
We are here for the long haul and we will look after you and your finances from the day we meet. We will hold your hand, do all the research and heavy lifting for you and through the combined efforts of our team, will ensure that we take the stress of sourcing and applying for finance, away from you.
Location: Balmain NSW but service all of Australia
Favourite drink: I cannot resist an espresso martini, equally a skinny latte extra hot with cinnamon on top. Did someone say coffee? 
Best life hack: Trello! A project management tool that I use to run my business, manage my children's schedules, my schedule and the endless to-do lists that come with it. 
Best piece of advice: Nothing changes if nothing changes. Be comfortable with the uncomfortable and if something isn't working, change it up!

I loved property, was good with numbers, I was "that'' friend who always helped everyone with their budgets so Mortgage Broking made a lot of sense! I started my business with a 4month old and a 2yo, (whilst breastfeeding!) and having had no previous experience!

Lisa is not your typical Mortgage Broker. She is a self-confessed nerd! She commenced her professional journey with a degree in Exercise and Sport Science (Hons 1A) and then went on to complete her PhD in Biomechanics (yup, major nerd vibes!). At 25, she became Dr Lisa Bridgett and spent the next 10 years as an academic lecturing in the University Setting and working for the Institute of Sport assisting elite athletes with their performance.
Fast forward some years and as a single mum with a 4 yr. old and 2 yr. old, Lisa realised that having a 9-5 job wasn’t going to cut it! With her strong research and numbers background and her own property portfolio and passion for all things property, Lisa knew that a career change was in the cards. She studied and got her qualification, started Stellar Finance Group and never looked back!
With two young children and understands the challenges of parenting and finding balance in life. She doesn’t mind if your children run in and out of the screen during zoom meetings or if you just need a glass of wine to wind down during your session.
