With 2 decades of experience as a successful property investor herself, she has learnt a few things along the way. What not to do, what you have to do and what can help get you started on the path to success!

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:

Jo is a professional property-buying expert, and cheerleader plus an advocate for women looking to embark on their property journey. She became highly experienced in the property space through self-education having learnt so much through investing personally.

In 2011, she established their Buyer’s Agency Advocate Property Services Pty Ltd. Jo was one of the first females in this emerging industry and spent the first few years explaining to people what a Buyers Agent was and how they helped people invest in solid good properties with great returns.

They acquired the educational arm of their business Property Women in 2015 and Jo's first book was published in 2018. She has now purchased hundreds of properties for clients equating to multiple tens of millions in value. Having undertaken many strategies personally, they really understood the investor journey. Some of the strategies I have embraced include property developments (splitter blocks), renovations, builds, interstate purchases, joint venture structures, buying in our super, and managing Airbnb’s and Co-living set-ups.
